SCHLOSS Zermatt

A family-run four-star right by the station with a games playroom and a pool. It has Friends & Family suites for four or five and larger apartments with kitchens, with cots and extra beds available.

Hotel Welschen

Sleeps 6 Kitchen Pool

A chalet-style hotel directly opposite the Sunnegga funicular, the access to the beginner area at Wolli's park. It has a 600 m2 spa with an indoor pool open to children until 7pm, plus two- and three-bedroom apartments with full kitchens for larger families. There is no childcare service, so it suits families who look after their own children.

Hotel Adonis

Sleeps 4

A budget-minded B&B-style hotel a few minutes' walk from the Matterhorn Glacier Paradise valley station. Offers triple and quadruple rooms plus a large apartment for up to seven, a guest kitchen, and a well-equipped ski room.

Hotel Walliserhof

Sleeps 6

A central hotel on the main street, about three minutes from the station, with dedicated family loft and connected family suite options sleeping up to six. Its sister Vrony Apartments give self-catering space for larger groups and share the hotel's mini-spa.

Hotel Bellerive

Sleeps 6

A family-run central boutique hotel with two junior suites and a two-bedroom apartment that each sleep four, and a 170 m2 duplex for six. Children under 9 stay free in their parents' room and 9 to 15s pay CHF 40 a night, which keeps a family of four reasonable for Zermatt. Every room has a heated ski depot, and there is a small spa with sauna, steam bath and whirlpool but no pool.

Hotel Bristol

Sleeps 4

A family-friendly village hotel close to the station, offering triple and quadruple rooms so a family can share one room. The small spa has a sauna, steam bath and relaxation room for evenings after skiing. The cable car lifts are a short walk away.
