Family ski hotels in Saas-Fee

Saas-Fee is a car-free glacier village at about 1,800 m in the Saas valley, reached by train to Visp and then a postbus of roughly 50 minutes. The ski area tops out at around 3,600 m on the Mittelallalin glacier and advertises about 150 km of slopes. The village has a dedicated children's learning area at Kalbermatten, and visitors park outside the village centre and walk or use the local electric buses. Allow 4 to 5 hours door to door from a Swiss airport with children and luggage.
